Fixed wireless internet works by sending a signal from a tower to an antenna at your home. For that signal to be strong and stable, there must be a clear, unobstructed path between the two. This is called line of sight. Even small obstacles like a dense cluster of trees or a neighbour’s roof can weaken or block the signal entirely.
We design our network to serve rural properties, but every location is different. A straight line on a map does not guarantee a working connection. That is why we never simply rely on a computer model or a satellite image to decide if you can get service.
Terrain and Tree Cover: Real‑World Factors
