Field and Tower Operations
Our tower and installation crews are the people who bring internet service to rural homes and businesses. Day to day, you might find yourself climbing a tower to align a radio, trenching a line to a new customer’s home, or inspecting equipment after a storm. The work is physical and takes place outdoors in all weather. You’ll need a valid driver’s licence and comfort with heights. Many of our crew members hold a tower climbing safety certificate or a fall arrest ticket. First aid and CPR training are also valuable. We provide the gear and training you need to work safely; what we look for is a willingness to learn on the job and a respect for the land and people you serve.
Network Operations Centre
Our network operations team monitors the backbone that connects entire communities. Day to day, you could be troubleshooting a fibre cut, adjusting radio frequencies to improve signal, or working with tower crews to plan a new route. The work is a mix of desk-based monitoring and hands-on problem solving. Certifications that help include network fundamentals, routing and switching, or wireless communications. You don’t need them all to start, but a willingness to study and earn relevant tickets will help you move forward. We also look for people who can stay calm under pressure, because when a rural community goes offline, quick and clear thinking matters.
Customer Support and Administration
Support agents, sales staff, and administrative workers keep everything running behind the scenes. Day to day, you might take a call from a farmer who can’t connect to a grain monitoring system, help a family choose the right plan, or coordinate scheduling with installation crews. The work is steady and community-focused. Useful tickets for this team include customer service certificates or basic computer networking knowledge. Many of our support staff start without formal tickets and learn as they go. What counts most is patience, a clear voice, and a genuine desire to help your neighbours stay connected.
- Helpful tickets and licences – Valid driver’s licence, tower climbing safety, fall arrest, first aid and CPR, network cabling certification, wireless communications ticket, customer service credential. We help you obtain the ones you need for your role.
